A marketing graduate and Fellow of the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM), I founded Tech B2B marcoms agency DDM Ltd in 1992. Starting from a spare room at home in my late 20’s, I grew the business over 25 years to support many global IT brands in Networking, Virtualisation, Security and Storage.
My journey started working at grass roots level in Channel for leading distribution partners developing tactical sales led campaigns. My unique blend of hands on strategic sales and marketing experience has subsequently delivered value in both enterprise and channel progammes by global organisations such as Citrix Systems, Juniper Networks, Kingston Technology, Seagate and NVidia across EMEA.
Regarded as a creative business thinker, I have helped clients define new strategies and advise on ‘disruptive’ demand generation campaigns that successfully deploy emerging digital strategies including, marketing automation, programmatic media buying and account based marketing.
In 2016 when ABM was still emerging, my work for a client was cited as an example of best practice by leading technology analysts Sirius Decisions as an EMEA Programme of the Year.
I acted as interim Marketing Director for Rocket Fuel one of the first programmatic demand side real time bidding platforms (DSP) driving their go to market strategy for the UK and Europe.
An entrepreneur by nature, I hold executive board level appointment on a number of start-ups across different industry sectors including medical device technology, water safety (legionella control) and retail.
