If you’ve not booked your ticket for B2B Marketing Ignite on 9 July, here are five reasons why you should delay no longer.

I’ve marked the following five B2B visionaries on my personal B2B ‘must attend’ list for this year’s event, and would go out of my way to see any of them speak individually – least of all together on the same bill! Needless to say, we’re thrilled to have them onboard for 2019.

Here’s a little more about each of them:

  • Christine Bailey, CMO, Valitor
Earlier this year, Christine was named by B2B Marketing as the number one woman in tech marketing, reflecting her illustrious career working for some of the world’s leading tech companies including Cisco and Atos. She’s also worked as a consultant and has been a TEDx contributor on marketing matters. A deeply personal speaker, Christine’s session at Ignite 2019 will focus on her latest professional challenge, to build a remarkable brand for her current company Valitor.
  • Doug Kessler, creative director, Velocity Partners
The creative sage of Richmond-upon-Thames, Doug’s take on the creative challenges facing today’s marketers has become legend in B2B marketing circles on both sides of the pond. Expect to be challenged, amused, sworn at (repeatedly – but in an unwaveringly kind way), but above all, inspired. Doug is our closing keynote.
  • Katie King, author of Using artificial intelligence in marketing
Katie is almost certainly the UK’s foremost expert and influencer on the fascinating and critical topic of AI, having penned the aforementioned book and become a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group task force for enterprise adoption of AI. This follows a stellar career working agency-side (mostly B2B) for the likes of Text100, and she too is a TEDx contributor.
  • Tamara McCleary, CEO, Thulium
Outside the world of celebrity and politics, there are few people on this planet who are better connected than Tamara, who has more than a quarter of a million Twitter followers. She brings new meaning and resonance to the word ‘influencer’. The list of brands she has worked for literally reads like a ‘who’s who’ of B2B – IBM, SAP, Dell, AWS, Huawei, Ericsson. At Ignite, Tamara will speak about the future of work and marketing, and what we need to do to embrace it.
  • Rory Sutherland, vice chairman, Ogilvy UK and author of Alchemy: The surprising power of ideas that don’t make sense
What can you say about Rory that hasn’t already been said? He has blazed a trail on the topic of behavioural economics into marketing, which is providing a much-needed counterbalance to data-obsessiveness. Always insightful, generally hilarious, consistently impossible to get off stage, Rory is our opening keynote.

Of course, these five speakers only scratch the surface of Ignite 2019. Take a look at the additional 60+ sessions and 83 speakers. Whoever you are in B2B, wherever your challenge, we truly believe this event is unmissable. See you there!
